Yasmeen is a board-certified women's health nurse practitioner with a master's degree in nursing from UNC-Chapel Hill (2013), a bachelor's in Nursing from Winston Salem State University (2008), and a bachelor's in Biology from Elon University (2003). She has experience in perinatal nursing and gynecology-oncology nursing. She loves focusing on well-women's care, adolescent health, contraceptive counseling, and obstetric issues. What pleases her is when her patients leave with a better understanding of their health than when they arrived. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, traveling, playing air hockey, and experimenting with new recipes.
